I had to make a quick trip to our weekend house in Galena yesterday, 40*, sun shining, 320 miles round trip. I had to go either yesterday or today and we were expecting rain later today. I was looking forward to the first drive I had taken for a while.
When I got there, the house painters were admiring my car. I also kept looking at it, trying to figure out what was wrong. It had its hard hat (top) on and dirty windows. The tires, mud flaps and door handles were grey from the road salt. I kept looking at this strange-looking car when, much to my shock, I noticed that my stone guard was missing! And, not only one, but both were missing!
They couldn't both have just fallen off. I checked with the guy who hand washes my car and he said I didn't have them on last week when I there. I have no idea where I was when I lost them.
So, many thanks to Keith at Z3 Solution for getting my replacement stone guards in today's mail. I much prefer my black stone guards to my yellow which are currently on my car. And, to you out there who found my stoneguards, wear them well. But I know they look better on my car than they will on yours. ;-)
