You will have trouble finding a 1.9 owner who "wished they had bought a 2.8". They are a loyal group of people. FredR's certainly felt quick to me.

My advice (which is rarely the easy road): find a 97 Violet Red/Beige/Beige 1.9. Gorgeous car. Get one with a build date that will let you add roll hoops.

And FredR, I still have the cassette holder. I am working on it!
