Nope. I just checked an R&T "Road Test Summary"; they recorded (2.8):

60-0...123 ft.
80-0...215 ft.

That represents the ~std. dev. among buff mags, IMO.

I'll have to look tonight but from the R&T digest at the back of the magazine the 1.9l had around a 10ft shorter stopping distance. Makes sense... both cars use the exact same pads and same sized rotors (through the 2.8ls are vented) and the 2.8l has more weight to haul down with more of it over the front wheels.
