Case in point, I had read previous message board threads and fully expected my new 00'///M to have natural oil.
I took delivery on Monday and specifically asked the question, also noting that the synthetic sticker was not in place.
The salesman asked the service manager and he assured me it had synthetic oil, so OK...end of subject.
Once I arrived home and began looking through the service manual it specifically states "all cars are delivered with synthetic oil except the M coupe and roadster".
I am proceeding under the assumption (per previous MB postings) it in fact has natural oil and will switch to synthetic after 2,500 mi or so.
