I remember hearing about a possible modification to the release point on the clutch, so that a petite driver like myself wouldn't have to kiss the steering wheel just to reach the pedals. Does anyone know if this modification is possible on the Z3? I was able to get comfortable in my 3-series, but when I test drove the Z3 I had more trouble -- even with the seat brought as forward as it will go, my leg was stretched and fully extended to reach the clutch. Any info would be much appreciated.

I'm 5'2" (don't ask me for it in metric :-), and whilst I could reach the pedals, I had to slide down in the seat to fully depress the clutch.

There have been a rash of messages lately about custom clutch stops, but these all relate to how far you have to depress the clutch pedal before it hits something.

Adding the clutch stop has made my Z3 far more comfortable to drive (plus it feels somewhat 'sportier :-).

Hope this helps,
Andrew
