Nothing quite like the sun on my face, wind in my hair, Cold Air Intake singing in the crisp air, snow held at bay on either side of the street. It was HOT I tell you, I need to fix the heater. Just a sweater and a pullover, scarf like JackieO ho ho ho Boston Green Velvet gloves... People’s faces filled with summer in their eyes when they looked up from shoveling snow and saw us go by. Everyone stopped what they were doing and followed us in their eyes as long as they could see.
I asked this nice lady in the tollbooth to take a pic of my top-down ensemble, and took a pic of her too, we sure have pretty toll takers!
Yeah, Emmy got messy from the splatter of melted snow, and I dribbled some water over the residue when I got home, nothing tragic.
People looked at me like I was crazy- which I am- but it was WARM I tell you! Every drive-by clock confirmed it at 45 or 46F. I finally felt a chill around 430pm when the sun bid a stunning goodbye, casting red gold light on the snowy remains of the storm. At a stop light I reached back and grabbed the roof, whooomp, click, click go!
Was a fabulous day, I wonder how many folks in my neck in the woods got a top down day today? I hope everyone did! YEEE HAAAA!
River on my left, along with the canal...
