Help for AOL users posting pics, FTP (archive)

Hiya-
I used to work for AOL and teach people how to upload their files and make web pages.
They changed a few things but I think this should still work
Keyword: FTP
Click on GO TO FTP
Arrow down to members.aol.com
click on connect
now you are on your FTP and can upload your images there
make sure you choose "binary" for the transfer protocol for pictures
it will ask you for the location of the file you want to upload from your hard drive twice
Once it's uploaded you can go to
http://members.aol.com/yourscreenname
and look at the inventory, click on each one for their url, which will be
http://members.aol.com/yourscreenname/yourimage.jpg

This may be slightly different for MAC users, and I did read that they have made some changes using "hometown.aol.com" or something, but this still works for me

Each one of your screen names has 2mgs of ftp space.

Once your pics are up on your ftp space , you can post them to the message board where it says "Optional Image URL" in the posting form

Make sure you PRACTICE ON THE TEST BOARD, link is at top of Message Board
