Last weeks Automotive News reported on NADA meeting of BMW Dealers meeting with BMW USA. Sykrocketing BMW business has caused huge shortage of qualified BMW Techs to service all the product. One solution proposed was to slow down new product intro's until the fix catches up with the problem. Another was to figure out a way to recruit and fast-train technicians. I suggest they buy a former USSR country, train the whole population and relocate them to the USA.
SERIOUSLY THOUGH, IT'S OUR JOB TO MAKE SURE OUR DEALERS DON'T GET AWAY WITH SLIPPING SERVICE QUALITY. I have always believed the worst reason to drive a Corvette is that you would have to depend on a Chevrolet dealer for service.
