: yep mine too ... but I am not just getting chips..which I could understand in small amounts .. but anywhere the paint gets impacted the paint blisters up around the area of the chip.... or impact area in cases where the impact wasnt strong enough to take paint.... what do you all think? BMW gave me the standard run around.. not covered...but I am going to call the complaint number and tell them that I am not satisfied with the dealerships paint guy saying " learn to live with it... get over it" .. thats bull... on a $43k car....

It sounds like a real problem to me. A few yrs back, my relative had a new Volvo that had the same problem. Volvo ended up stripping and repainting the entire car it was said to be due to poor chemical mix in the paint itself.I have 2,700 on my 00' 2.3 Brt red 08/99 and just one tiny chip.Knock on wood.
