NTB - The REST of the story (archive)

Well, after the excellent treatment I received, I went to my car at the end of the day, and was treated to another flat on my newly repaired tire. The cursing was loud and repetitive. I drove to back to NTB, after airing up again.

The least skillful worker they had there popped the tire off the rim, re-patched it and then as he remounted the tire he proceeded to

DESTROY BOTH MY TIRE AND BREYTON WHEEL

The loud and repetitive cursing was not necessary this time, since NTB offered to replace both tire and Breyton wheel without me even asking. Even though I was majorly inconvenienced, I was also very impressed with their owning up to the mistake with no hesitation.

So now I'm zipping around on my Kumho track tires, hoping it doesn't rain, and will get my new wheel/tire on Monday.
