: The only rule is GET WHAT YOU WANT
: I still don't know what the heck that is suppose to mean. IOW, once you pays your money, you definitely got what you wanted. End of story. You may be short-sighted & regret any prior decisions, but that doesn't change that absolute, at that time.
If you want something, get it. What's the confusion? A better way to explain your example would be "Honey, I gave them $60k, and they gave me a daewoo. Well, dear, what did you ask for? I dunno."
Honestly, you can pay any sort of money you feel like spending, but in no way does that guarantee that you'll have the car you what you really wanted. Two seperate things entirely.
So, spend a few moments deciding what car YOU want, what options YOU like, including the ones YOU must have. Eliminate the ones YOU won't want, and there you go. The emphasis is really on the YOU, so don't get an option because everyone else did, especially if you don't like it. A good example is the power top. If you want it, get it, but don't not get it if everyone poo-poos it.
