stay with 2.8 roadster or trade for M-coupe? (archive)

Here's the dilemma: I have a beautiful 98 2.8, black & tan, with Dinan air & chip. Brand new tan top, replaced on warranty (premature wear). 17K miles. A beaut. But I've been craving the M coupe. I've found 2 used ones at dealers in the area. Both under 10K miles. One is asking 34,900, the other 36,000.

Spring is on the way. Top down weather will beckon. But that balls-to-the-walls coupe! What do you guys think? And, in a trade in, what do you think I'll get for my rig, what price should I offer for the coupe?
