: In Boston we have large snowpiles between the cars parallel parked on the sides of the streets. After a few freeze-thaw cycles, these things solidify to a rock-like hardness. Earlier this week, while stuck in traffic, I spotted a guy across the street getting into an Isuzu Trooper. There were a few empty spots in front of the Trooper, and a two foot high pile of snow was all that blocked the SUV from driving straight forward.
: The driver had apparently seen too many Jeep commercials.
: He stomped on the gas, the front wheels rapidly climbed the pile and became airborne. The rear wheels never made it to the pile. The SUV stopped with all four wheels suspended several inches above the pavement.
: Who needs a CD changer when there's all this great entertainment on the other side of the windshield?
