: I live in the LA area and just purchased my first Z3 two weeks ago and I am looking for a "home" dealership to work on the car. I don't want to be ripped-off just because it's a BMW. (ie: I was just charged $25.00 for touch-up paint and $28.00 for Mequires plastic cleaner by a local dealership. Ouch!) Any advice would be great. I live in the Valley but would be willing to drive for good service.
It may be too far, depending upon where you live, but so far (since Sept.) I have been impressed with Irvine BMW. Their parts prices aren't the best but their service dept has eagerly and efficiently taken care of every little thing I have asked. For parts and accessories, there are some out of area dealers that offer mail order at better prices. Circle BMW is one. There are several others that advertise in Roundel as well.
