As mentioned by the previous post, they do tend to keep heat in. Despite the so called ventilation holes, there isn't enough air flow with these things installed to allow proper brake cooling.
You won't have any dust on you wheel, but you may have a warped rotor on your hands. How do I know these? Personal experience, sadly enough.
I'd suggest PBR Metalmasters over these items.
