The crease in the backlight is caused by one of the top's structural bars. There are two ways to get *rid* of it:

1. Well, you could zip in a new backlight. But, you'll get a new crease the next time you put the top down :-( ; &

2. Use a 'pillow' to prevent the structural bar from pressing into the backlight. However, there's good reason to believe that this may cause the dreaded backlight-from-top-separation :-O. And, IF you were to use a properly sized pillow, e.g., foam type pipe insulation, it would've had to have been used from the onset.

Unfortunately, since neither of the above is desirable, you're basically stuck with it, as it will never completely go away. Welcome to the club!
