: : The line will contuinue to appear until you get awindow pillow, or something to increase the radius of the fold when the window folds in half. If you lower the top in hot weather, the plastic may also kink in the center of the fold. If this happens, the plastic will craze (it will look like you stuck a piece of scotch tape to it). If this happens, the damage is internal to the window (caused by stretching of the plastic) and you will not be able to do anything about it. What is even worse, the crazing occus right were you see it in the mirror, so it is extremely irritating.
