the plastic window when it in down. It is not caused by folding. The window folds about two inches from the top, and nobody has ever gotten a crease there. Scratching of the crease is caused by the rough canvas moving across the plastic during driving. The blanket prevents a lot of the scratching. Always use the blanket. You can get the scratches out with Meguiars #17 and #10. The pillow, if placed correctly, will raise the bar to it doesn't rest on the plastic. However, this just places stress on the side seams of the window and will eventually cause failure of the seams. Best advice: use blanket only. The crease will diminish if you leave the top up in the hot sun, but will come back when you lower it. Live with it. It is better than replacing the window when the seam separates.
