: Yesterday on city streets, I poped my cluth on my M Roadster at about 5000 rpms, went full throttle through 2nd then after shifting to thrid, I noticed that a police officer had been in the other lane (3 lane road) only 1 car back. I did not brake but just took my foot off the throttle. He came up quickly behind me, tail-gating me. I signaled and moved to other lane. He drove up next to me, slowed, staying right beside me for about 50 yards and then passed by. I did not look over (afraid to make eye contact) so I do not know if he was looking at me but assume he was the way he slowed andstayed with me for so long.

: I was happy but then my democrat ways got to me and I got somewhat mad thinking that he saw me in a moderately expensive car with a QCOM vanity plate (so many people follow the stock market now, he probably knew the stock symbol) and therefore did not citation me for something that had I been in a mustang or camaro, he likely would have.

: Anyone else have a speed or other traffic violation this closely seen by a police officer ignored?
