has reasonable miles, which is harder to do with cars '94 and older. The Yamaha 6 is reliable but also expensive (as Fords go) to get repaired if it does have a problem, according to a friend who had one. That guy did put 6 figure miles on the car before spending any money on it though.

With a few ugly exceptions, reliability of the drivetrain (i.e. the expensive parts of a used car) is tied more to mileage than anything else these days. It is not tied to the nameplate on the car which some people seem to think is everything. For $10K you can get reasonable miles and at least a little "pizzaz" too but it may take some serious looking around!

: : 92-94 Ford Taurus SHO...best bang for the buck in sedan...tests on the Yamaha 6 were incredible for strength and longevity...5-speeds, a real trunk,cheap parts...pizzaz is when you leave most Oryza sativa boys in dust...
