The first time my battery was dead, I tried to jump start it with those tiny cheapo cables from the Mercedes S class's big o' battery, it didn't take. The Mercedes's battery had lot more amperage than the Z3's, but the jumper cables couldn't deliever all the amp through. Also, if you have the Ungo alarm, which I have as well, I think it's draining power even if you had not turned it on. I read in the manual somewhere that even with the alarm disarmed, it would still run through it's cycle of monitoring all the zones for malfunction.
