Don't like risking rock chips in your forehead :o)

I tried the sport seats on a Z3 and felt like the windshield was a waste of time. Top up my hair brushed the top liner. Top down, the bar at the top of the windshiled was smack in the middle of my line of sight and the top of my head protruded into the oncoming breeze. Went with the regaular seats because they seemed to go lower. I do like the feel of the sport seats, though. Tried them on a loaner 528i and never wanted to get out of the car. If only they hadn't propped me up so high...

My $0.02 is to try them both. If altitude isn't a problem, they're definitely a plus.

: : Been leasing a Z3 2.8 for 3 years and I love it...so much so I'm about to lease another one. Found one I want except it has the Sport Seats option, and I have no idea if those are comfortable or not. I plan to take this car on some long drives and sitting on rock hard seats would suck! haha

: : Anyone care to comment on just how these puppies feel?

: : Thanks
