Anyone using H&R sport springs? (archive)

I just put H&R sport springs on my car (2.3) and the front tires are rubbing against the the plastic fender guards. Has anyone had this problem? The only thing I can think of why this is happening is that the installer shortened my bumpstops by cutting them down. Is this standard practice or are should the bumpstops remain stock? TIA.
