I'm running 225/45 in the fronts and 245/40 in the back. They only rub at the fringes of the tire. My concern is if the suspension bottoms out, that the wheels will hit the bottom of the hood and damage it.

I called H&R and asked if the springs were meant to be used with the stock bumpstops and their answer was "YES"!! They said that the rubbing was probably due to the offset as you said too. I called the installer and told them what H&R told me and they said that Eibach told them to shorten the bumpstops on other installs. Anyway, they just ordered new bumpstops for my car and will re-install them this Friday. This will give a little more clearance between the tire and the top of the wheelwell.

Do you happen to know if the wheel goes deep into the wheelwell when it bottoms out? My thoughts are that the wheels should never go above the bottom of the wheelwell, otherwise there could be alot of damage during hard braking during cornering manuveurs.
