I too have been thinking about cold air intakes lately on my 2.8. The main reason is that it has been around 100F on most days recently and I have noticed an *incredible* difference when the air is cool and crisp (say about 65F). The difference seems to be far more than with the other cars which I have. For this reason I have been thinking that the intake could really improve things if it was able to get enought cooler air from outside the car.
