1. You should track your own car so that you get a feel for what it can do, what it can't do and what you need to work on as a Driver.
2. You should learn on someone else's car...(grin).
While I believe in #1, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to try #2....so I signed up for the Porsche Driving Experience at RoadAtlanta. They are going to let me drive a brand new (MY2000) Porsche 911 on their track for 2 days along with some nice instruction by some of the best in the business.
Now if I can only get some track time in around here before I go...
