The keyless entry does not come standard, your dealer is correct. The BMW keyless entry is an additional fob, and retails for about $525, but work it into the deal, I split the cost on mine. I see no real advantage to BMW's alarm, unless there is a warranty issue.

: Who can tell me if the 00 MZ3 roadster comes standard with keyless entry. The dealer tells me that it just comes with a lighted key but Edmunds says keyless entry is standard.

: Also, is BMW's alarm worth the money and what kind of price should I expect. Does the alarm integrate into the key or do they add a fob? Do aftermarket alarm installations void any warranties?
