I don't know much about working with fiberglass. Here is what I think I can do with it, but I'm not sure.

I would like to create a fiberglass cylinder to hold the speaker. Is this as simple as creating a cylinder out of a wire mesh and coating it with the fiberglass mixture? How strong would this be? What products do I use to do this, if possible?
