Have had my 2.8 for 2 summers and top is usually down. I don't drive in the winter here in CT. Black top and I'd heard that one problem would be the top would have bands bleached into it. No problem as yet. No other problems either, considering that it's going up and down frequently.

: Bought my 96 Z3 in October but have not had the top down to much (live in the midwest) Any problem driving with the top down and not having the boot covering the top??
