: Just great! I was headed into the office to catch up on a little work yesterday. I was passing Sandestin's golf course, 2 lanes and a buffer zone of trees away from the green, when out of the blue (literally!)WHAM! A golf ball slams into my hood. The ball came almost straight down, hit my hood just above the left headlight and bounced into the side window of a Land Rover headed in the opposite direction. He has a broken drivers side window, and I have a dent a good 1/4 inch deep and 1 inch in diameter in a location that is going to be very hard to fix! : Needless to say, I didn't get much work done! 50k miles on my '96 Z3 and this is my first dent! I always thought it would be a door that would get me, not a golf ball! : I guess Monday I will get an estimate on the repair cost. Does anyone know if a Paintless Repair place can do anything with this kind of dent? : Well, its time to go. I think I need to build a tree stand at the edge of the golf course.
