Lateral acceleration? (archive)

Can someone explain to me what lateral accelaration means when comparing 2 cars. Higher the number the better right? Also Eibach springs, are they hard to install, how much to install, improve handling?, lowers the car right? Anyone have a picture of a lowered Z? Does it look cool?
