Help Creaking soft top (more)does it need oiled? (archive)

Hi guys
My top is driving me nuts, creaks every bump. it is right in back of my ear infact. Do the joints, the black arms, that fold the top need to be oiled. It sounds like a creaking sound. Anyone else have this darn problem? Thanks a lot for your input on this one guys.
