Maybe it wasn't on purpose. Some people turn on their washers when it's sunny in an attempt to get rid of windshield film that's causing glare or to clear bugsplat.

I never use the washer if a top-down convertible or motorcycle is right behind me, because the spray carries farther than one might think. But many drivers are simply clueless, they are not necessarily harassing you intentionally.

: Today, we finally see the sun in NY after several days of T-storms. It's in mid 60's with sun shine and blue sky, gergeous weather, so of course i was driving top down. when i was on LIE, this 525 was in front of me, guess what, he turned on his windshield wiper fluid on purpose, for like 10 sec, i did a quick lane change so it didn't really get on me. but it's sad when someone play shit like that to anyone in a droptop, especially when it's another BMW.
