8.5 is a little too big for a 1.9 Z3.... it will rub the fender. You can have your fenders widened though.... I suggest you go with 18x8... Looks smooth on a 1.9 Z3, will not rub. I got 18x8 with 225x40x18 and I lowered my car with HR Springs. Thats about a 1.5 inch drop(perfect drop for Z3)..... And it still doesn't rub...
