I'd suggest jacking the rear up and removing a rear wheel then inspect the whole wheel well and see if it looks like the tire is rubbing anywhere on it. If you are getting that much tire dust on your body I would assume that is the case. If so you should be able to see rub marks in your wheel well somewhere.
