Hello, Removing the instrument cluster is not difficult at all, but repairing the problem is. If you have a digital odometer LCD display, (which I think you have) the only way to replace the light or faulty LCD panel, is to replace the instrument cluster as an assembly. Your local BMW Center will have to replace the part, since recoding the ZKE Module perhaps might be required depending on your model.
