If you read the packaging and web material on the Meguiar's Gold Class product, it is not a Carnauba based wax product like their other lines are. In fact, if you look at Megauir's web page and the discription of Gold Class, it says it is a polymer product. Here is a line from their web page; 'Its rich polishing oils and tough polymer protection glide on easily, leaving a durable . . .'. No were, for this product, does it say carnauba.

So, I don't really understand your comment, both are polymer based, from what I can tell. Some of Meguires's other lines are carnauba based.

Just trying to provide some more facts for this discussion.
