Interesting. Also, as far as proven products over the years, Sal Zaino said that Zaino has been used since 1978. I don't know how long carnuba has been around (probably much longer)- still, I think these "new" water based paints must have come out later than 78 so the amount of time that both carnuba and polymer type waxes and polishes have been tried on water based paints is probably the same.
In my case, the finish on my car was bad enough that I was considering a repaint anyway. Zaino saved me from that, at least for the next 20 years.
Interesting about the Meguairs site advertising it as a polymer!!! :D
Again, I had no problem with Meguairs.
I understand Griot's has a great line too.
