Well, you couldn't have asked for two better events here in south Texas. Yesterday, was the 3rd annual Texas '02 Fest in Brenham. We had a several caravans from around the state come together to admire some impressive old beemer metal. Thanks to Warren Cambell (Warcamp) for organizing the Houston contingent. Also thanks to Glenn St.John and Jasper Morgan at Intercontinental BMW for lending a hand.Today, some of the finest metal in the country was on display at the annual Wheels and Keels Concours d'Elegance down in Seabrook. Saw dozens and dozens of classic sports cars. Many many roadsters including classic MB's (convertables and gullwings), MG's (A's and TD's), Jaguar's (all of 'em), Morgan's, Vette's (54-70), Maseratti's, Triumph's (3's and 6's), Ferrari's (a dozen or so), Shelby Cobra's, and even a Sunbeam Alpine. Two circa '69 F1 cars were also present.
Its was easy to see where much of the inspiration for the Z3 came from.
