I just had the focal 165k2 installed in the 97 z3 and they sound great in the stock locations 6.5 mids are in the the kicks and the tweeters are in the doors. The imageing is great. I am using a ppi pc 2600 two channel that puts 150 watts per channel rms to each set and they sound sweet. I looked at the utopia's also but I couldn't justify the extra cash. These speakers crank out more clean sound then you can stand with the top up and have great mid bass, they love the power too.
