In order to get a top place your car cannot look other then stock. You get "dinged" for everything the judges can find that was not as the car left the showroom floor. Add on items that are sold by the cars builder are generally acceptable, but not always. Gold plated trim, for instance, is not acceptable, neather is chrome plated wheels. Concours is not a "hot rod" show, it's a place to show off stock or nearly stock cars. Sorry!
