: Hi people,
: I just put a $500 deposit on a brand new Z3 2.3. I should get it this week (can't wait!)

: I'm wondering if I'm getting a good price from my dealer:

: (I live in Montreal, so prices are in CDN $)

: Z3 base : $45900
: AT : $1000
: Metallic paint : $800
: Fog lamps : $335
: Chrome line : $275
: A/C : $1875
: HK sound system: $395
: ----------------------------------
: Total : $50580

: I didn't bargain that much so they're selling it to me for exactly $50000. Could they have done much better?

: Any canadians here who purchased a similarly equipped Z3 2.3? How much did you pay?

: Thanks,
: DB

DB , I'm a fellow Canadian now living in Guelph ,Ontario but used to live in Montreal. You are buying a Roadster at peak buying time so likely the dealer is not doing you any favours.
I ordered my 2000 z-3,2.8 in Mid Jan. and picked up April 1.
Here's what I bought: 2.8,manual shift (std. pkg.),metallic paint,sport seats....total list price was $56,175 + $875 frt. I paid $53,900 +$875
frt.+ taxes INCLUDING locking wheel nuts, embroidered floor mats, rubber floor mats, wind deflector, touch up paint, cup holder (arm rest type)and touch up paint at no charge. I believe I drove a hard bargain but remember Roadster sales are DEAD in January!
