Dinan is fully supported by BMW. Many BMW Dealers are Dinan certified, and offer Dinan components. BMW NA and BMW AG are aware of this, and support Dinan. Dinan components are designed to work with BMW cars, carry their own warranty, don't void the BMW warrant (AFAIK), and are installed by BMW-certified techs. BMW went so far as offering Dinan models as a part of their Certfied Preowned Program (from what I remember).

Therefore, it is pretty darn clear that BMW supports Dinan and its efforts, otherwise BMW wouldn't offer Dinan components in it's franchises.

So, even if the Dinan suspension caused the cracks, I think that BMW should support their product. If BMW doesn't cover it under warranty, then Dinan should.

However, the suspension was most likely installed by a BMW/Dinan-certified tech. So, if the suspension is causing the problem, then the BMW/Dinan technician must've installed it wrong... and the dealership should cover that.

I can certainly understand BMW not covering damage caused by fly-by-night "Tuners"... but BMW should support Dinan.

Jonathan
