: Mine has come off while changing tires, but has since survived several autocrosses. I wonder if it's possible to get the suspension contorted enough to pull the sway bar out while driving. I think the car should slide before it rolls that far on its suspension.

: : Well it took less then a week before my rear sway bar came lose again! This appears to be a serious design flaw with the suspension on the Z3. I'm not a happy camper with BMW!

: : I'm calling my dealer in the morning to complain. It appears to me that they could have at least put a small hole in the end of the sway bar and pinned the end with a cotter pin or small bolt and washer. Better yet they should have attached it with a bolt like the aftermarket folks do.

: : I think I'm going to try to make them come up with a fix for this problem. Afterwards, I'll pull the piece of junk and put on an aftermarket system that is designed correctly!
