Point taken - I'm sure you're correct. There's no reason, though, that a wheel should go bad if given even a bit of TLC. Just occasionally hand-rub in some leather conditioner or apply a light coat of Meguiars #40 Rubber and Vinyl Protectant to maintain a smooth, brand-new appearance. Do not use regular Armor-All, which never dries and stays slimy. The Meguiars #40 dries overnight. You don't want a slimy wheel.
