If your car is new as you suggested, it has the latest ECU software already.

That's just the M engine...I had 2 M3s in the past (00 M roadster now) and they all do that for the first few minutes. Dealer was never able to fix it...although I believe Jim Conforti's software fixes it. Blip that throttle!
