I'm using a Garmin 12 tied to a Sony PCG-C1X sub-notebook running Street Atlas. The GPS lays in the pax seat, and the Sony sits nicely in the center of the dash (use a tacky mat to keep the computer in place works good on the highway, not recommended for "spirited" driving).
