Holiday weekends are not a good time to challenge interesting roads. Traffic is heavier as is enforcement (higher revenue potential).

If you conider yourself a driver of above-average skills and your car above average in performance, remember that most people are less skilled and diving less capable vehicles. More of them will be out on holiday weekends. Show your "above average" intelligence by realizing that you may have to make allowances for their lack of skills and their vehicle's sub-par capabilities.

Save your driving heroics for days when there are fewer of these drivers to watch out for.
