OK, now that may make it worth it. Trying out the BMW track alone fits the bill. Will my dealer have details on picking up at factory, or is there some other contact I should make.
(I'll be ordering a 2001 2.5 as soon as they have the final pricing.)

: If you take delivery at your home dealership, you will still pay the full destination charge...something under $600 I think. If you go to the plant, you pay it anyway, but you get put up at the Marriott (I think that is the hotel) get wined and dined, get to try out the BMW track, and get treated better than you would at your dealership, almost certainly.

: And possibly your car will be set up better to start with. Sounds like fun to me, and you have to spend the bucks anyhow...
