I have been using GPS systems extensively for years on end. I travel all over north america and sail offshore. I have tried a number of different combinations to help me find my way. Bottom line: I currently use the Garmin Street Pilot and use two different programs to augment it. I use Garmin's Map Source to build city/regional databases, and DeLorme's Street atlas to program routes. The ease of use with this setup is superior. 98% accuracy and no excessive clutter in the car.
